A devastating ruSSian airstrike on a residential apartment building in Kharkiv has left tragic consequences in its wake. Authorities have confirmed the death of a 12-year-old boy, with an additional 36 individuals sustaining injuries of varying degrees. The rescue and emergency response teams have been deployed on-site and continue their work, aided by 37 rescue personnel and nine pieces of specialized equipment.
Emergency responders are engaged in painstaking efforts to clear debris and search for survivors. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) has dispatched psychologists to the scene to provide emotional support and crisis counseling to affected residents. The SESU has been instrumental in coordinating the rescue efforts, which have also included the successful rescue of three individuals trapped under the rubble.
The somber scene took a further tragic turn as emergency workers recovered the body of a man from the debris, raising the confirmed death toll to two. The situation remains critical, with rescue operations ongoing as emergency crews strive to bring closure to this tragedy while providing assistance to those in need.
