Under attack again: russia brings death and destruction to peaceful cities

russia once again struck peaceful Ukrainian cities — deliberately targeting residential buildings, educational facilities, and critical infrastructure. Their goal remains unchanged: more civilian casualties, more destruction, more pain.

Today, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Ternopil regions came under a massive enemy attack.
Around 500 rescuers and over a hundred units of equipment are currently working at nine active locations.

🔺 The situation is the most severe in Ternopil.
Critically damaged: two residential nine-storey buildings. One is on fire; the other has structural destruction from the 3rd to the 9th floor.

As of 10:00: 10 people killed; 37 injured (including 12 children).

Rescuers continue evacuating residents from blocked apartments. Some people remain under the rubble. We are working with maximum caution — every minute can mean a saved life.

I have sent the head of the State Emergency Service, Andriy Danyk, to the site. I am keeping the progress of rescue operations under constant control and reporting to the country’s leadership.

Aviation, mobile rapid-response centers, “Delta,” canine units, and heavy engineering equipment are being deployed. Additional forces are arriving from neighboring regions. Psychologists are also working on the ground.

Points of Invincibility have been set up, and mobile kitchens are providing people with warm food.

Police are documenting every piece of evidence of russia’s war crimes against civilians. Tents have been set up where victims can file reports and request help.

Access to damaged buildings may be restricted by police — please follow the rules. This is solely for people’s safety and to protect property.

🔺 In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, three people were injured, including two children.
🔺 In the Lviv region, large warehouse facilities are still burning across several locations — more than 10,000 square meters in total. All are civilian objects.

Everything russia does is terror and death.
Everything we do saves lives.

Therefore, the State Emergency Service continues emergency and rescue operations. It is critically important to find every person and save every life.

UPD:

Ternopil: 19 people killed in a massive combined russian strike on the city

▫️Another 66 people were injured, including 16 children. Rescuers saved 45 people.

The enemy attack damaged residential apartment buildings as well as industrial and warehouse facilities. Large-scale fires broke out.
A total of 191 SES specialists are working on site, including the special “Delta” unit, canine teams, psychologists, medics, and other municipal services.
Thirty-eight units of SES equipment have been deployed.

Response and recovery efforts continue. Data is being updated.
