Izium. A rescue operation is ongoing after a Russian missile strike on the city. As a result of this attack, part of the city council building has been destroyed. As of now, it is known that there are casualties—20 people have been injured. Sadly, five people have lost their lives. My condolences to their families and loved ones.
This brutality is impossible to accept. Pressure must be applied to Russia using all possible means—the power of weapons, the power of sanctions, and the power of diplomacy—to stop the terror and protect lives.
